Refunds
Last updated: August 31, 2026
One payment of $59 CAD buys lifetime access. There is no subscription here, nothing to cancel, and no renewal to catch you out, so there is only ever one thing to undo.
Money comes back two ways: the pass guarantee, if you did the work and the exam still went against you, and an ordinary change-of-mind window if you simply bought the wrong thing.
The pass guarantee
Complete at least 3 full practice exams before your exam date. Fail your first OMVIC exam attempt anyway? Claim within 90 days of purchase and the money comes back in full.
What has to be true:
- Three full-length mocks (the 90-minute mock) finished and submitted, any score, before the exam date on your result
- Your first OMVIC exam attempt, not a retake
- The purchase came before the attempt
- Submit your claim within 90 days of purchase, one claim per customer
There is no minimum mock score. Claims that abuse the guarantee may be refused.
The mock records are already on your account, so there is nothing to send. If you have a genuine fail notice but missed one of the conditions, write anyway and say so.
How a guarantee claim works
- Forward the result email. The result email from Georgian College, forwarded to support. Not a screenshot: the headers and the sender domain are what we check.
- Names are matched. The name on the result has to be the name on the purchase.
- Mock records are checked. Three completed full-length mocks, timestamped before the exam date on the result. Your account already holds them, so there is nothing for you to send.
- Full refund. Refunded in full through the payment provider. Submit your claim within 90 days of purchase. One claim per customer.
If you changed your mind
Separately from the guarantee, you can ask for a refund within 7 days of buying, and you do not have to give a reason. This is the one for buying twice by accident, buying the wrong thing, or a product that turns out not to suit you.
After 7 days, ask anyway if something has gone wrong.
How to ask
Write to [email protected]. There is no form to fill in and nothing to cancel first. An email is all it takes, for either kind of refund.
- Write from the address on the account, so it can be found.
- Say roughly when you bought it. The order number is on the emailed receipt, and it makes this quicker without being required.
- A reason is welcome, and never required. Inside the window it changes nothing anyway.
After you ask
A person reads it. Inside the change-of-mind window the answer is yes, usually within a day. A guarantee claim takes a little longer because we check the result email and the mock records.
Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within a few working days. The tax comes back with it.
Who sends the money back
Our payment provider is the merchant of record, so the refund is issued from there, back to the card that paid.
The receipt came from them, so you can ask them directly too. Asking here is usually quicker.
What happens to your account
Paid access closes as soon as the refund is issued. The free half stays open and everything you have done stays on your account, so if you buy again later it is all still there.
Chargebacks
Please write to us first. A chargeback takes weeks and gets you nothing an email would not get you faster. It closes paid access the same way a refund does, and if it is later settled in our favour, access comes back.
The iPhone and iPad app
This page is about purchases made on this website. The DealerPrep app is sold on the App Store, and refunds for it are handled by Apple under their terms, not here. The pass guarantee is a website promise: the app has no account behind it, so there are no mock records to check.
